Mill Lake
Mill Lake itself was the site of a lumber mill around 1900 with a small trestle crossing the lake at the west end for a narrow gauge train to hall the logs to the mill. This area of the Sumas Flats was constructed as part of the storm water detention system for the city of Abbotsford. It had been closed to the public for an extended period until reopened in 2012.
